From a very young age I was fascinated by animals, collecting frogs and toads or taking home any waif or stray I came across. We had the usual assortment of domestic pets that were frequently joined by injured wildlife that I nursed back to health in my bedroom, much to my Mothers disgust!! After university in London I returned to the Midlands, taking up a position as a trainee keeper at a local Zoo, from there what was a fascination became a passion.

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a love of animals. Having kept a wide range of pets as a boy, I have always had a Hands-On experience with Animals. When I joined the team eight years ago, I was promised never a dull minute and since that day no two days have ever been the same. I now live and breathe Animals for they are a major part of my life. Hand rearing has now become second nature to me and I never complain about the two hourly feeds that are sometimes required during the middle of the night!!

National History Presentations is a Wolverhampton based company offering hands on animal experience. Our exhibitions are fun, exciting and educational. They give the viewer the experience to safely interact with various exotic animals from around the globe. We have a wide variety of animals, ranging from mammals to reptiles, birds to amphibians. Most of the animals are friendly and safe to handle with our supervision. We attend schools, nurseries, residential homes, after school parties, birthday parties at home or a venue, mini zoos and corporate events. In schools the talks are adapted to the age range of the children, key stage 1, 2, & 3. It can also be integrated into the national curriculum. All our staff are experienced in teaching childern and people of all ages. Topics covered include classification, food, chains, habitats, jungle, deserts, rainforest, cold blooded life and bird life. Animal welfare is our foremost consideration with regular veterinary inspection. Our staff are CRB checked and fully insured.
